A Fairy Advice for New Dads

Being a new dad is a feeling unlike anything else one may experience. Knowing that you have participated in bringing life forth helps you understand the power that you will wield as a new dad. A new dad has a brand new life to nurture and care for. He has been entrusted with raising a person that other people will like and want to be around. New dads don't always get the same support that new moms get. And more often than not, the new dad has to go back to work much sooner than the new mom. True, this leaves a shorter amount of time for bonding with a new baby but new dads shouldn’t be discouraged. To encourage bonding, be sure to come home and hold the baby. If mom is bottle feeding, then offer to take one for the team and get up for a midnight feeding. You'll earn points with mom and get to experience your new little one in a completely different way. Changing diapers is not the most exciting experience but it’s easy to master and before you know it your baby will outgrow this life stage and you’ll be throwing the ball together or just having a dignified afternoon tea party.
